We continued watching "Guns, Germs, and Steel." We learned about animal domestication. To tame animals to benefit both humans and the animals.Only certain animals can be domesticated. They must be herbivores, large, and social. They have to reproduce regularly, and they have to get along with humans. There are 14 animals that are successfully domesticated by humans. Goats, sheep, pigs, cows, bali cattle, horses, donkeys, bactrian camels, arabian camels, water buffalo, llamas, reindeer, yaks, and mithans. At least one of these animals were in many different countries, however, in Papua New Guinea, there were none of the listed animals there. Again, this is where the geographical luck comes in. They were very unlucky, not have very little plants, but also no animals that are able to be domesticated. Some of the uses of domesticating animals is to get their milk, use them for clothes, and to do labor chores such as pulling a plow.

During this time of distress, we are all experiencing new things. We are learning to be much more distant from people and are relying on our technology to communicate as well as spend time with other. As students, we are learning to learn more independently. As teachers, you are learning to give meaningful assignments that will impact a student's learning. There are many difficulties as well as temptations that go along with this. On the student side, there are difficulties learning how to teach ourselves and become more responsible with our work. Assignment #1

Paracles was a was a statesman led Athens during its golden age. His goals for Athens was to strengthen its democracy, strengthen the empire, and to glorify Athens.  A direct democracy when the people rule directly and not through representatives. Paracles introduced this by letting the poorer citizens have a say The Delian League was an association of Greek city states that gathered in order to defeat the Persian Empire. They used their immense treasury in order to fund Paracles' goals for Athens. They would invest some of their money in order to strengthen Athens and glorify the city state.

Rome, Rome, Rome, Rome

I honestly probably shouldn't have listened to this while I was sleep deprived with my headphones at full volume. I don't know if this happened because I was laughing or sleep deprived or both, but I started crying. I started freaking crying. It is a masterpiece. This is gonna be stuck in my head for the rest of quarantine. But actually though, it seemed to have a detailed outline of the things we are going to cover in this unit and it tied in some of the things that we have already learned, and I think that it was well-made.
