Semester Exam Review

In Human Geo, we answered thirty seven questions out loud in class. The questions were pulled directly from the semester exam so that we could have a chance to review before the exam happens in December. The questions that we reviewed were about Cia.gov, population and settlement, population pyramids, and more. I got called on one time and got it wrong. I kept second guessing myself because of my anxiety. Then I got called on again and got it right. Mr. Schick said that he'd give us the essay questions that are going to be on the exams so we can study it. He said that there would probably be five essay questions, but we only have to answer two.

Accountability

During this time of distress, we are all experiencing new things. We are learning to be much more distant from people and are relying on our technology to communicate as well as spend time with other. As students, we are learning to learn more independently. As teachers, you are learning to give meaningful assignments that will impact a student's learning. There are many difficulties as well as temptations that go along with this. On the student side, there are difficulties learning how to teach ourselves and become more responsible with our work. We need to work harder in order to understand the material that we are needing to learn. Personally, I find it rather difficult to teach something to myself. Assignment #1

Paracles was a was a statesman led Athens during its golden age. His goals for Athens was to strengthen its democracy, strengthen the empire, and to glorify Athens.  A direct democracy when the people rule directly and not through representatives. Paracles introduced this by letting the poorer citizens have a say The Delian League was an association of Greek city states that gathered in order to defeat the Persian Empire. They used their immense treasury in order to fund Paracles' goals for Athens. They would invest some of their money in order to strengthen Athens and glorify the city state.

Rome, Rome, Rome, Rome

I honestly probably shouldn't have listened to this while I was sleep deprived with my headphones at full volume. I don't know if this happened because I was laughing or sleep deprived or both, but I started crying. I started freaking crying. It is a masterpiece. This is gonna be stuck in my head for the rest of quarantine. But actually though, it seemed to have a detailed outline of the things we are going to cover in this unit and it tied in some of the things that we have already learned, and I think that it was well-made.
