Orthodontist

I wasn't in class today because I had an orthodontist appointment to go to, and now my teeth hurt... :(

Greek Theater

The types of Greek theater were tragedy and comedy. A tragedy was a serious drama production with themes such as love, hate, war, and/or betrayal. They almost always have a tragic hero with a tragic flaw who would probably die by the end of the play. There were also comedies, plays that had really funny scenes with both slapstick and/or crude humor. These plays would often be offensive towards politics. In middle school I participated in some of my school plays. We did this one comedic play called "Buckshot and Blossoms." It was similar to a Greek production because there was a lot of slapstick humor incorporated in the play.   This image depicts a Greek theater. At least in my school, the seating is different. It is straightforward rather that curving in this picture. It looks like it could hold a plethora of people in this theater and it is outside.

Mesopotamia quiz pt. 2

During class we reviewed a couple things for the Mesopotamia quiz tomorrow. We listened to song about Mesopotamia. We kind of just messed around for the rest of class which was fun. The test is tomorrow, so I'm gonna study a lot today.

More on Demographic Transitions

During class we reviewed demographic transitions so that we can understand them better. We clarified what it really is and what the stages mean.  Stage 1 is when both the birth and death rate is high. Since they are both high they cancel each other out, therefore, making the natural increase stable. This stage usually happens in developing countries, and most countries are out of that stage.  Stage 2 is when the birth rate is still high, and the death rate falls dramatically. This causes an increase in the RNI. This usually happens when the country is going through some sort of breakthrough, such as the Industrial Revolution. Stage 3 is when the the birth and death slowly decrease. The RNI will increase at a much slower rate compared to Stage 2. Stage 4 is when the birth rate and death are low.
