  1. Population and Migration
    1. Syria is the country with the highest net migration rate. Syria has the highest net migration rate at 57 migrants per 1,000. This surprised me because I didn't think that people would migrate there because of the ongoing war/dispute.
    2. In Costa Rica, the 44.04% of people are 25-54 years old. This shows that the population will grow slowly and steadily.
    3. The infant mortality rate in the world is 32 deaths per 1,000.  
    4. 31.4% of the world is Christian.
    5. The world's population rate is 1.05%

Greek Theater

The types of Greek theater were tragedy and comedy. A tragedy was a serious drama production with themes such as love, hate, war, and/or betrayal. They almost always have a tragic hero with a tragic flaw who would probably die by the end of the play. There were also comedies, plays that had really funny scenes with both slapstick and/or crude humor. These plays would often be offensive towards politics. In middle school I participated in some of my school plays. We did this one comedic play called "Buckshot and Blossoms." It was similar to a Greek production because there was a lot of slapstick humor incorporated in the play.   This image depicts a Greek theater. At least in my school, the seating is different. It is straightforward rather that curving in this picture. It looks like it could hold a plethora of people in this theater and it is outside.

Post Populations and Settlement Test

In Human Geo, we had the test. During the test, we had to do the Cia.gov questions, which I thought was fairly simple. but I messed up on the last one. I think the test was pretty easy, though I probably should've studied the push and pull forces a little bit more. I don't think I did as well as I had hoped, but at the very least, I'm sure I passed.

Plebeian- The common farmers artisans, and merchants who made up the majority of the population Tribune- Representatives elected by plebeians. Protected the rights of the plebeians from unfair acts of patrician officials Consul- Two officials that commanded the army and directed the government like kings. Senate- Aristocratic branch of Rome's Government. Contained both legislative and administrative functions in the republic Dictator- A leader who had absolute power to make laws and command the army Legion- Large military units comprised of Roman soldiers Punic Wars- The beginning of a long struggle between Rome and Carthage Hannibal- A brilliant military strategist who wanted to avenge Carthage's earlier defeat
